Upon it’s release, Paintin' the Town Brown served as a live retrospective for the group. The album contains songs from Ween's very first live shows (which were simply Dean, Gene, and a DAT deck), performances from Ween's tour in support of The Mollusk (though no songs from that particular album are featured), and includes an infamous 26-minute version of “Poop Ship Destroyer".

BrownieFebruary 24, 2023Sort of annoyed that those of us who pre-ordered from Ween didn’t get a limited pressing. Seems sort of shitty to do to the fans not even mentioning the Newbury comics version. Seems it should have gone the other way. I have the original Mushroom release so who cares how this sounds? The UK version will be hands down the preferred pressing.
